Weekday Creche

The Weekday Creche is open to the broader community and supports gym and swim members who are parents of small children. It is open Monday, and Thursday from 8-10:15am. We are seeking volunteers to give up one morning each week and work as part of a small team. This is a highly rewarding opportunity for people who love children, are eligible for a Blue Card and willing to complete Child Safety training. 

Sunday Morning Chairs & Packdown

Each week our incredible centre has hundreds of people passing through and using its facilities. The challenge is, every weekend we have to convert our space for church, including preparing the Bball stadium curtains, staging and chairs. To help maintain this unique vision we require volunteers. This would require a 1 in 6 week commitment with an awesome online roster which allows the flexibility to swap and allocate weeks of unavailability for holidays etc. Setup would be between 8-9am with time to return home or have a coffee before the service begins. After the service requires facilitating the packdown of chairs, followed by stage blocks and curtains.

Lifehouse Furniture Delivery Service

We are excited to launch a furniture delivery service to those clients assisted by the Lifehouse.  Many are unable to facilitate their own pick ups so this will complete our service provision to them, helping them fully embrace their new season.  Shifts will be up to 4 hours on a variety of days, including Saturdays, all to be determined.  No special license required but must be able bodied.

Bread Service -  Wednesday (after work)

This volunteering opportunity is on a Wednesday late afternoon and sees a small rostered team collect bread from Banjos Bakery at the Plaza, transport back to Goodlife where it is bagged and crated ready for distribution Thursday.
